Individuals diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and have been prescribed oxygen

Note: Palliative care patients are eligible to apply even if the hospital provides some of the equipment

Must meet all of the following criteria:

-Ages 25 years and younger
-Have a valid PEI health card
-Have been referred to the Provincial Diabetes Program
-Meet certain medical criteria

Individuals who have a permanent ostomy and meet the household income requirements found on the website

Note: Applicants with private insurance may apply. Once accepted into program, claims must go through private insurance before being submitted to Provincial Ostomy Supplies Program. (details available on website)

Individuals diagnosed with phenylketonuria (PKU)

Ages 65 years or older

Individuals diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease or who have been in close contact with someone with a sexually transmitted disease

Permanent PEI residents with a valid PEI Health Card

Individuals may be eligible if they have received a bone marrow or solid organ transplant * Call PEI Pharmacare for further details on eligibility requirements

Ages 21 years and younger

Children in their kindergarten year * Parents with or without private insurance can access the program for their child
