Service Description

Assists with the costs associated with approved insulin pumps and supplies.

The program covers up to 100 percent of costs. The amount depends on annual household income and private insurance coverage. See website for details.

Notes: Application deadline is July 1 each year. Existing recipients must reapply by the deadline to keep the current coverage.

Eligibility:
Must meet all of the following criteria:

-Ages 25 years and younger
-Have a valid PEI health card
-Have been referred to the Provincial Diabetes Program
-Meet certain medical criteria
