Service Description
Provides individuals with full cost coverage of approved substance and alcohol use treatment medications. Includes:
- Methadone
- Suboxone
- Probuphine
- Sublocade
- Acamprosate
- Naltrexone

Eligibility:
Permanent PEI residents with a valid PEI Health Card
Fees:
No fees
How to Access:
Physician, nurse practitioner or other health care providers must complete and submit the registration form, available online
Documents Required:
PEI Health Card * Substance Use Harm Reduction Drug Registration Form * Special Authorization Medication Form if applicable
