Provides eligible applicants with full cost coverage for approved transplant anti-rejection drugs.

Eligibility:
Individuals may be eligible if they have received a bone marrow or solid organ transplant * Call PEI Pharmacare for further details on eligibility requirements
Fees:
Yes - if delivery of the medication is required, courier costs must be paid * No fee for medication
How to Access:
Physician or specialist referral is required * Physician or specialist must submit a completed Transplant Drug Program Application Form which is available on the website
Documents Required:
Valid PEI Health Card * Completed application form * If applying for coverage of a medication requiring special authorization from the Provincial Formulary, a Standard Special Authorization Request Form must also be completed by your physician or specialist
