How to report suspected or known child abuse. Includes organizations that receive tips about missing children and pass those on to the appropriate authorities on behalf of individuals. Also included here are services that provide information about online safety for children or how to recognize the signs of abuse.
- Family Support Services
Programs that include a broad range of services to help support families with children. Includes, but not limited to: activities, workshops, support groups, mentoring or peer support, counselling, parenting skills, cooking classes that include meal planning and nutrition advice, free-to-use laundry facilities, resource libraries, and more.
- Financial Assistance
Help for families with children to pay for specific items or activities. Also includes government rebates and other income assistance or benefit programs related to children.
- Pregnancy and Postnatal
Classes and other supports for expectant or new parents.
Early learning, sports, recreation, social, and cultural programs for children up to approximately 10 years of age.
Social and recreational activities for families to enjoy together. Includes cooking classes that parents and children can do together.
