Free tax clinics are available during the tax season. Volunteers prepare income tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals who have a modest income and a simple tax situation.
Clinics are held at locations across Epekwitk / PEI and tend to run late February to late April.

Financial counsellors provide advice on reducing or eliminating debts over the phone by giving people the tools to successfully manage their finances. Counsellors help clients:
Assists individuals with consolidating unsecured debts into a single monthly payment over the phone or virtually. Credit counsellors may work with creditors to negotiate reduced or waived interest where available. The program administrator distributes payments to creditors on the client's behalf, which can simplify debt repayment by reducing the number of payments and due dates to manage.
In addition to debt repayment support, participants receive financial counselling and education focused on budgeting, money management, and strategies for maintaining long-term financial stability. The program provides a structured approach to repaying debt while helping individuals develop financial management skills.
Provides free, confidential, support to build financial confidence. Staff work with clients to assess their situation, identify spending habits, and reduce financial stress. Support includes financial education, budgeting, financial goal setting, and debt strategies.
Program is available through one-on-one in person, phone or online appointments.
