National telephone and text suicide prevention and support. 988 uses culturally affirming suicide prevention services and has access to online resources, local helplines and crisis resources across Canada.

Provides in-person and virtual workshops designed to support couples and new parents in building healthier relationships and support family development. These workshops areare co-facilitated by Gottman Institute trained leaders and therapists at Family Service PEI.

  • Connected Couples Workshop: Helps couples strengthen communication, trust, friendship, and healthy conflict management. This is for couples at any stage of their relationship.
  • From Partners to Parents Workshop: Supports couples during the transition to parenthood by strengthening co-parenting, communication, and emotional connection while promoting positive parent-infant relationships. This is for couples transitioning to parenthood in any way or parenting a child under three years old, including through adoption or fostering.

Note: These programs are not appropriate for couples experiencing any form of abuse or domestic violence, active and untreated addiction (substance or behavioural), or severe and untreated mental health concerns.
