Wild Child Forest School Provided by: Wild Child PEI

Provides play based learning programs for children through repeated exposure to nature. A variety of week long camps are offered in summer and once a week programs in spring, fall and winter.

Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program Provided by: Government of Prince Edward Island - Department of Education and Early Years - AKA: Formerly Department of Education and Lifelong Learning

An optional play-based program for four-year olds before they enter kindergarten.

Children have the opportunity to work and play together which supports their social development, creativity, language development, problem solving and thinking skills, motor skills and general knowledge, which results in a smoother transition to public kindergarten.

Program is offered 15 hours a week out of licensed early childhood centres.

Tales of Islandia Provided by: PEERS Alliance - AKA: PEERS; Prevent Educate Empower Respect Support; Formerly AIDS PEI

Provides a weekly in-person action role playing games program for youth to explore the outdoors while create and navigate a story together. The program is delivered in partnership with Wild Child and provided in a safe queer and trans inclusive environment.

Note: Program is held outdoors and come prepared with appropriate clothing for the weather.

10 week summer day camp. Kids participate in a variety of outdoor and indoor activities and make use of:

Basketball nets and a paved hockey rink
Wooden train, old car, tractor and wagon
Garden, green space, and sand box
Tire park and paved race track
Music, art, and theatre room, video game rooms,
Sports room, mini-gym, and LEGO room
Craft room, homework room, and teen room

Fee charged on a per day basis.
