Employment and Training

Provides a volunteer-based tutoring program designed to help Francophone individuals develop their English language skills. Participants can choose to have sessions either online or in person with a tutor.

Provides a paid internship opportunity for bilingual youth and French-speaking post-secondary students in Epekwitk / PEI. This 10-week internship offers participants hands-on experience in their field, while allowing them to explore local employers and career opportunities within their home province.

Supports immigrant entrepreneurs and job seekers by connecting them with local business and community leaders to build professional networks and create career opportunities across Epekwitk / PEI. Services are provided free of charge in multiple languages, including English, French, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Persian.

Provides free employment support services to the francophone community in Epekwitk / PEI. Includes:

• Personalized coaching and support, including resume and interview preparation, at assisted resource centres in Charlottetown, Summerside, and Wellington
• Access to exclusive job offers
• French workshops and resources
• Access to a computer and various online resources at unassisted resource centres in Rustico, Deblois, and Souris

Aims to help Francophone youth ages 15-30 years become more involved in their community, and to support succession in community development and volunteer work through a variety of training opportunities. Includes:

• Self-discovery and personal well-being
• Leadership and teamwork
• Civic engagement and community volunteering
• Personal branding, networking, and social media
• Communication
• Budget management (especially personal finances)
