Community and Correctional Services - Adult Probation Services Provided by: Government of Prince Edward Island - Department of Justice and Public Safety - AKA: JPS

Provides assistance to individuals who have received a Probation Order from the Courts. Such orders require the offender to comply with specific conditions while on probation and each offender is assigned a probation officer to help monitor their compliance. Community and Correctional Services - Criminal Injuries Compensation Program Provided by: Government of Prince Edward Island - Department of Justice and Public Safety - AKA: JPS

People who are the victim of a crime reported to police may be eligible to receive money to help with eligible expenses or losses. Examples of types of expenses and losses that may be covered include:

Lost wages
Pain and suffering
Medical or dental expenses
Financial assistance to assist victims who have a child born as a result of sexual assault
Funeral expenses if the crime resulted in a death

Property loss and damage expenses are not eligible.

Access to legal clinics hosted by Justice Avenues in community spaces
