An overnight emergency shelter located in Summerside serves women, trans, and non-binary individuals, as well as children who are temporarily unhoused due to various circumstances. Shelter stays are managed on a case-by-case basis and can last up to eight weeks without requiring individuals to leave.
For those needing longer-term support, the LifeHouse Transitional Housing Program is available. To apply, shelter users must stay for a minimum of four weeks before submitting an application.
