Student Well-being Teams

Service Description

Provides free in-school supports and services for public school students who are struggling with mental, social and/or physical health issues. Examples of issues the teams can help with include:
  • Anxiety
  • Sleep issues
  • Exercise
  • Food
  • Screen time
  • Family
  • Relationships
  • Depression
  • Social skills
  • Parental support
  • Self-regulation
Teams are assigned to each Family of Schools and direct contact information can be found on the website.

Eligibility:
Students enrolled in PEI's public school system
Fees:
No fees
How to Access:
Students can drop in when the Student Well-being Team is at their school or ask a teacher, school counsellor or staff member to refer them * Service providers and families may also request service by completing an online form
Documents Required:
PEI Health Card number if a referral is being submitted by a third party
