Adult Learner Awards

$750 bursary for adults who are working toward a grade 12 certificate or grade 12 equivalency (GED).

Application deadline: January. See website for exact date each year. We award on average 10 bursaries a year.

$1500 Scholarships for those who have then gone on to post-secondary schooling. These are managed through Holland College Foundation. Three awards are provided each year.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

Each month, children enrolled in the program receive a high quality and age appropriate book in the mail, free of charge.

Gift of Reading

Free secondhand children's books.

Accepts donations of gently used or new children's books.

Ready Set Learn

One-on-one summer tutoring for children in grades K-6. Program details:

Tutoring in English, Francophone, French Immersion
Tutoring sessions are 50 minutes and last for eight weeks
Fun and safe learning environment in a public library, schools, and community centres
Customized lessons for each child
Child-led learning activities
