Provides support and prevention services to assist Mi'kmaq families who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing difficulties at home that could impact the overall safety and wellbeing of their children.
Provides in-person and virtual workshops designed to support couples and new parents in building healthier relationships and support family development. These workshops areare co-facilitated by Gottman Institute trained leaders and therapists at Family Service PEI.
Note: These programs are not appropriate for couples experiencing any form of abuse or domestic violence, active and untreated addiction (substance or behavioural), or severe and untreated mental health concerns.
Offers parents and caregivers the opportunity to gather together, learn new recipes and prepare a meal to take home to their families.
