Description:	Helps eligible PEI residents pay for their accommodation (room and board) in an Long-term care home. Subsidy amount is based on net income from last year's tax return (Notice of Assessment provided by Canada Revenue Agency).
Eligibility:	Eligible applicants have: -Determined to be eligible to move into an long-term care home by Home Care -Net annual income is less than $44,250.40 -Used all other potential sources of assistance (for example, private insurance or Veterans Affairs Canada benefits, where applicable) and can provide proof of denial if asked
Fees:	No fees
How to Access:	Contact a local Home Care office to talk about long-term care home placement * If assessed to be eligible, the application form will be given
