Opportunities with Holland College, training with the Construction Association of PEI, meet mentors, and tour with industry employers
Life skills and labor market research, resumes, interviews, math and team building
Includes all materials
Participants are able to keep income support and maintain Employment Insurance (EI) while enrolled in the program. Child care and travel subsidies (where applicable) are available.

Description:
Provides a 14-week career exploration and college preparation program for women and gender-diverse individuals. The program includes:

Eligibility:
Women and gender-diverse individuals ages 22-45 years (some flexibility) who:
-Have completed grade 12 (through high school or GED)
-Have a desire and aptitude to work in trades and technology sectors
-Have lived on PEI for at least 3 months and are either Canadian citizens or permanent residents
-Are on Employment Insurance (EI), are working 25 hours per week or less, are on social assistance or have no income
-Can commit to full-time programming
-Are ready to make change in their lives through exploring new career options
