Camps

Provides a two-week summer transformational opportunity for youth with sight loss to learn and develop skills for their academic and job-seeking goals. Includes:

• Leadership skill
• Independence skill
• Pre-employment skill
• Social skills
• Connecting with like-minded peers
• Educational activities such as visiting restaurants and local attractions

Takes place in Toronto and all expenses are paid.

• Make a splash: fishing, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding
• Get creative: music, pottery, crafts, dancing, talent shows
• Get active: basketball, tennis, volleyball, mini-golf, archery, hiking, yoga, tandem-bike riding, and more
• Skills training, confidence building and support from a community that understands living with sight loss

Offers residential summer camps designed for children living with type 1 diabetes. Camp options to PEI applicants include:

• Camp Morton: Overnight camp for youths, ages 13-15 years
• Camp Lion Maxwell: Overnight camp for youths, ages 7-12 years
• Maritime leadership camps: Two-week camp for ages 16-17 years
