People should contact the patient registry if they:
  • Do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner and would like to register for one
  • Have moved within the province and are looking for a family doctor or nurse practitioner in their new area
  • Are expecting a baby and do not have a family physician or nurse practitioner
  • Are currently on the Patient Registry waitlist and your contact information has changed
  • Are on the Patient Registry and have found your own doctor

Provides information about the Pay Equity Act which requires federally-regulated employers to take a proactive approach to correct gender wage gaps within their organization. Includes:

  • Pay Equity Portal - an online platform that allows employees, bargaining agents, and employers to submit requests and interact with Pay Equity officers on matters related to the federal Pay Equity Act
  • Complain on committee or employer-led plans - Complaints can be filed when there is reason to believe that an employer or a bargaining agent has not fulfilled its obligations and responsibilities under the Pay Equity Act
