Parents/guardians can sign-up for an online registry of the licensed early learning and child care centres across Epekwitk / PEI. The registry places their children on a waiting list for the chosen centres.

Provides free confidential support for individuals affected by gambling.

Includes:

Information about treatment options such as Addiction Services and self-help groups
Immediate support, advice and referral for yourself or a loved one
Ongoing support through follow up calls (if you consent to be contacted)

Note: People who are not ready to speak to a counsellor can call to request to have information mailed or emailed to them.

PEI Health Card Provided by: Health PEI

Provides residents of PEI with access to publicly funded health care. If you do not have a PEI Health Card, you will be billed for hospital and physician services.

PEI Intent to Donate Registry Provided by: Government of Prince Edward Island - Department of Health and Wellness

Residents of PEI can register to be on the organ and tissue donor list. This means that in the event of your death, your organs and/or tissue can be used to help someone who is on the waiting list for a transplant.

Note: Individuals already on the registry can change their minds at any time and remove themselves from the list.

PEI MFRC Education Bursary Provided by: PEI Military Family Resource Centre - AKA: PEI MFRC

Provides bursaries to eligible members of PEI MFRC community. Total of two bursaries of $500 will be offered and a successful applicant will be eligible for one bursary.

PEI Pharmacare - Catastrophic Drug Program Provided by: Government of Prince Edward Island - Department of Health and Wellness

Provides cost assistance to help eligible applicants pay for approved prescription medications in cases where the cost of medication is making it difficult to pay for other life expenses.

Annual out-of-pocket costs for eligible medications are caped at a maximum of 6.5% of of household income. See website for details on household caps.

Coverage runs from July 1st-June 30th annually.

Provides eligible applicants with full cost coverage of approved long-acting injectable antipsychotic medications.

Provides eligible applicants with full cost coverage of approved prescription and non-prescription medications used to treat cystic fibrosis.

PEI Pharmacare - Diabetes Drug Program Provided by: Government of Prince Edward Island - Department of Health and Wellness

Effective May 1, 2025 many insulin products and oral diabetes medications are eligible for full coverage under National Pharmacare Program (NPP)

Provides eligible applicants with partial cost coverage for approved medications and supplies that are not covered by NPP, including:

Insulin products
Oral medications
Urine-testing materials
Blood strips
