Helps youth learn skills to overcome, control and gradually face their anxiety.

Provided through telephone one-on-one or group coaching calls, participants learn Behaviour Therapy skills to overcome anxiety surrounding school, social situations, peer acceptance, applying to university or jobs, going to job interviews, getting a driver's license, and other common challenges.

Dental Complaints Provided by: Prince Edward Island Dental College - AKA: PEIDC; Prince Edward Island Dental Council (former name)

Patients can submit a written complaint about a dentist, dental assistant, or dental hygienist.

The Council will investigate any complaint related to dental care but does not have any jurisdiction to deal with fee disputes and cannot require a dentist to refund a patient or pay for dental work to be redone.

Funds orthodontic treatment for children in Epekwitk / PEI who have an orthodontic anomaly as a result of a cleft palate. Level of funding is 50% - 100% depending on family income and family size.

Dental Health Services - School Oral Health Preventative Program Provided by: Health PEI

Provides preventative services to children from birth to age 17. The services are provided in schools and dental health clinics in Charlottetown, Summerside and the Tignish Health Centre. Call to find out when the service will be provided in the attended school. Preventative services Includes:

Annual oral health risk assessment
Oral health instructions
Topical fluoride application to prevent tooth decay
Placement of dental sealants on teeth to prevent tooth decay
Cleaning and/or polishing of teeth

Connects individuals with disabilities and volunteer builders by phone or online to design and manufacture custom assistive devices not found in the market. Assistive devices can be used to overcome barriers to work, play, personal hygiene and other daily activities.

Designated Parking Permit Program Provided by: ResourceAbilities - AKA: PEI Council of People with Disabilities (former name); Formerly PEICOD (former name)

Parking permits that allow permit holders to park in specially designated parking spots that are closer to building entrances.

Permits are valid from January-December and must be renewed annually. Temporary permits are available for up to nine months, in three-month increments.
