Provides a 24/7 phone number for the public to report environmental emergencies. The Environmental Emergency Response Team responds to reports of emergencies including oil, fish kills, and pesticide and chemical spills.

Issues special waste permits for materials that cannot be disposed of through PEI's regular waste management system.

Issues an activity permit in a watercourse, wetland or 15 m buffer zone on or near one's property. Forms should be submitted at least six weeks before the anticipated project start date.
