  1. Wish Granting ProgramProvided by: Make-A-Wish Foundation - PEI Chapter - AKA: Unified with Children's Wish Foundation
    Provides a wish to children diagnosed with a critical illness.Different types of wishes can be granted and can include travel, kids meeting their favorite celebrity, and more. Staff works with the family closely to grant the wish.
  2. Provides a tax-free monthly payment to eligible families to help offset the costs of raising children. PEICB will be in addition to the federal Canada Child Benefit and is administered by CRA on behalf of the Government of PEI.
  3. Assists eligible parents with the cost of child care and daycare services for children up to 12 years of age.
  4. Provides one free eye exam and, if required, one free pair of glasses during a child's kindergarten year.
  5. Helps cover the cost of approved prescription medications for eligible families.

    Helps low-income clients apply for external funding to allow children and youth to participate in sports programs in PEI. Also offers a program to loan equipment needed for some organized sports.
