Eligible applicants must:
-Be undergoing active cancer treatment
- Have at least 10 appointments per year related to treatment OR live more than 200 km away from the treatment centre
-Have household combined gross annual income is less than $44,500
Note: Recipients of the Social Assistance Program or Accessibility Supports (Disability Support Program) in Epekwitk / PEI are not eligible for the Travel Treatment Fund.

Paid customers of Maritime bus who have any of the following conditions may apply:
-Walking difficulties
-Visual or hearing impairments
-Other disabilities deemed to require an assistant or those who cannot travel independently

Individuals who use a wheelchair * Older adults * Individuals with disabilities

Individuals who use a wheelchair * Older adults * Families in need of affordable transportation * Individuals with disabilities

People with a mobility, visual or hearing challenge * All ages

Individuals referred for heart, heart-lung, single or double lung, liver or pancreas (non-Bcell) transplant surgery that is not available in the Maritimes and who:
-Arrange to live within 8 hours of the hospital where the surgery will take place and be available when a suitable organ is found
-Are having non-experimental transplant surgery

To be eligible, Islanders must:

-Be experiencing financial insecurity
-Be travelling to a confirmed specialist appointment covered under the provincial health plan
-Have an Out-of-Province approval letter from Health PEI (See website for full details on obtaining this letter)

Eligible applicants:

-Are pre-approved for out-of-province services from Health PEI
-Have not received financial travel support from a non-governmental source
If eligible, subsidy is:
-100% bus ticket subsidy for annual net household income of $0-$45,000
-50% bus ticket subsidy for annual net household income of $45,001-$65,000 Annual net household income is based on Line 236 on your most recent CRA Notice of Assessment
