Resident of PEI, New Brunswick or Nova Scotia living with epilepsy or their families * Must travel out of the province to receive a treatment

PEI residents diagnosed with ALS * Must register (for free) as an ALS Society client

Families with children who travel at least 100km outside of Halifax, have a financial need, and receive frequent care

Family or friends of a person with a critical or terminal illness * Patients with a critical or terminal illness who want to fly home for end of life care while they're capable of travelling

Individuals who in financial need and cannot afford the cost of an airline ticket to receive medical care * Have a confirmed healthcare appointment that is covered by their provincial healthcare plan * Be medically cleared by their physician to fly on a commercial plane

Residents of PEI * Must travel out of the province to receive a lung transplant

PEI residents who are accessing out-of-province emergency services or are pre-approved for out-of-province medical services at in Halifax or the Moncton Hospital

PEI residents who are accessing out-of-province emergency services or are pre-approved for out-of-province medical services at in Halifax or the Moncton Hospital

Eligible applicants:

-Are pre-approved for out-of-province services from Health PEI
-Have not received financial travel support from a non-governmental source
If eligible, subsidy is:
-100% bus ticket subsidy for annual net household income of $0-$45,000
-50% bus ticket subsidy for annual net household income of $45,001-$65,000 Annual net household income is based on Line 236 on your most recent CRA Notice of Assessment
