VAC Assistance Service

Service Description

A 24/7 confidential service that provides support for difficulties that affect well-being. These could include:
  • Work-related issues
  • Health concerns
  • Family and marital problems
  • Bereavement
  • Other problems that affect well-being
Up to 20 hours of support is provided by mental health professionals. This service can connect individuals with a local mental health professional for direct support at their request.

Eligibility:
Veterans, former RCMP members, their family members, and caregivers * Available to children up to 21 years old (or up to age 25, if a full-time students)
