Summer Tutoring

Provided by: ResourceAbilities - AKA: PEI Council of People with Disabilities (former name); Formerly PEICOD (former name)

Service Description

One-on-one tutoring for children with disabilities who would otherwise lose school and literacy skills over the summer months. The tutoring is tailored to meet the needs of the student and in consultation with teachers and resource staff. Tutors come to the child's home but if not possible, they can meet the child somewhere in their community. Tutoring is generally for one to three hours per week and lasts for eight weeks.
Application closes at the end of May each year.
