Service Description

Students can apply for financial assistance to help pay for eligible costs associated with post-secondary education. By filling out the PEI Student Financial Assistance application, students will be assessed for eligibility for provincial and federal loans.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
-A resident of PEI
-A Canadian citizen or have landed immigrant or have permanent resident status (Record of Landing required)
-First time applicants over age 22 years will undergo a credit history check
-A full-time student at a designated post-secondary institution (see website for definition of full-time)
-Must be willing to follow the loan repayment schedule once education is completed
