Strengthening Aboriginal Families Effectively

Service Description

Provides support to Aboriginal families who live off-reserve who are involved with Child and Family Services. Includes:

Helping advocate for parents and children involved with Child and Family Services
Offers programming to caregivers and guardians to help educate them about the cultural history of children in their care
Provides home visits
Parenting classes
Community workshops
Monthly community kitchens to promote healthy eating on a budget

Eligibility:

Aboriginal families living off-reserve who are involved with Child and Family Services. Non-Indigenous families fostering Indigenous child/children.
