Sleep Apnea Refurbishment Program

Service Description

Collects, refurbishes and distributes gently used CPAP and BiPAP machines to eligible patients who suffer from sleep apnea but are unable to afford the machines.

Donations of CPAP and BiPAP machines accepted.

Information

Eligibility:
-Have a prescription or sleep study for a CPAP or BiPAP machine from a sleep specialist
-Do not have private health insurance that covers the cost of OSA treatment
Earns income less than $35,000 individually (or less than $60,000 per household)
-Agree to have the machine calibrated to the individual's needs by a sleep specialist
-Commit to maintaining treatment
-Commit to returning the machine if they are not using it, or are able to access a new one
-Sign a contract with the PEI Lung Association agreeing to these commitments
