Service Description

Provides eligible applicants who qualify for regular Employment Insurance (EI) benefits to continue receiving those benefits while they attend full-time post-secondary studies within Canada for the duration of their claim.

Information

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
-Be unemployed
-Be attending full time post-secondary studies
-Legally authorized to work in Canada (citizen or permanent resident)
-Be a PEI resident for a minimum of six months
-In receipt of or eligible to receive a regular EI claim
-Out of high school for a minimum of 12 months
-Have developed a plan with a case manager to return to full time studies to increase skills
-Accepted into a full-time training program within Canada
-Have the financial resources to pay for all training costs including tuition, books, etc.

Call or drop in to make an appointment with a case manager to create a Return-to-Work Action Plan and receive a Career Connect Application Form
