Service Description

Provides free tuition to complete a post secondary certificate or diploma for resident care workers. SkillsPEI will pay 100% of tuition costs and applicants may be eligible to receive financial supports while participating in training. Courses must be taken at Holland College, Collège de l'Île, or Marguerite Connolly Training and Consulting.

Eligibility:
Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident * A protected individual within the meaning of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act * Individuals who are unemployed, underemployed or self-employed and lack the necessary skills to secure sustainable employment * Other criteria may apply
