Service Description
Provides financial assistance to eligible individuals who seek to pursue a career in health care. All tuition costs are subsidized for licensed practical nursing, primary and advanced care paramedicine students.
Information
Eligibility:
PEI residents who are unemployed, underemployed or self-employed and lack the necessary skills to secure sustainable employment and who are:
-Legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident)
-A protected person within the meaning of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
-Other criteria may apply

Visit an Employment Assistance Service location to meet a case manager to complete a needs assessment before an application is submitted
