Service Description
Provides guidance and support to refugees within their first 12 weeks of arrival. Topics vary depending on the needs of clients but may include hygiene, apartment living, parenting norms in Canada, or public transportation. Workshops are also offered that are open to all newcomers regardless of immigration status or length of time in PEI.

Eligibility:
Core program is open to registered clients of IRSA who are newly arrived refugees (within first 12 weeks of arrival) * Workshop series is open to all newcomers regardless of immigrant category or length of time in PEI

How to Access:
Individuals who are not registered clients can book an appointment with an Intake Worker to become clients for free * Existing clients can drop in, call or contact through website to make an appointment
