Service Description
Provides free service dogs to young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The dogs help reduce stress and anxiety, help with socialization and language skills, and improve sleep.
A seven day training course is required to be completed, beginning with an evaluation of the youth's needs and interest in the dog. All training is done in Quebec. Housing and meals are provided. Parental involvement at the training is required 24 hours a day.

Eligibility:
Must: Be 15 years and younger * Provide a recent ASD diagnosis evaluation report * Certify the absence of dog allergies in the family and that no other dog lives in the home * Show interest in the dog * Commit to never leaving the dog alone and always including it in daily activities

Download the medical report form from the website, have a doctor complete it and then email the application
