A monthly benefit available to most Canadians 65 years of age and older.
Information
Eligibility:
-Individuals 65 years and older who are Canadian citizens or legal residents who have resided in Canada for at least 10 years since the age of 18 years
-Must have resided in Canada for at least 20 years since age 18, if currently living outside of Canada
-Must have resided in Canada for at least 20 years since age 18, if currently living outside of Canada

How to Access:
Automatic enrollment for those who are eligible * Service Canada will send a letter the month after the 64th birthday of eligible individuals * Individuals can delay enrollment (do so online or by mail) * Contact Service Canada if no letter was received
