Service Description

Support groups, summer programs, activities, and workshops provide information sharing and socialization to help immigrant youth learn and meet others.

Groups and topics are often gender and age based.

Programs and workshop topics include:
  • Life skills
  • Meeting others, building friendships
  • Camping
  • Day camps
  • Body image
  • Honoring diversity and expressing individuality
  • Media literacy
  • LGBTQ
  • Safe sex
  • Team morale building
  • Healthy relationships
  • Drugs and alcohol
  • Bullying and peer pressure
Programs are coordinated out of the Charlottetown office but may be offered at various locations across the province.

Eligibility:
Open to registered clients of IRSA * Kindergarten through Grade 12 * Specific programs may have other eligibility requirements

How to Access:
Individuals who are not registered clients can book an appointment with an Intake Worker to become clients for free * Existing clients can drop in, call or contact through website to make an appointment

Specific programs may require the parent/guardian to sign a consent form
