Service Description
Administers the Residential Property Act and assists landlords and tenants by providing information and helping with disputes. Includes:
- Providing guidance to landlords and tenants on their legal rights and responsibilities to each other
- Mediating landlord and tenant disputes
- Overseeing hearings related to landlord and tenant disputes and eviction notices
- Making rulings/issuing decisions in accordance with the Act

Call, email, or visit website * Tenants who wish to dispute a Notice of Termination by Lessor of Rental Agreement Form 4 (e.g. an eviction notice) must contact the Office of the Director of Residential Property within 10 days of receiving the eviction notice from their landlord
