Service Description

Assists individuals in purchasing equipment specific to their MS needs and provides a grant of up to $1000 annually. Equipment includes:
  • Mobility, transfer and assistive devices
  • Bathroom equipment (accessibility and safety devices)
  • Kitchen aids
  • Computer adaptations
  • Vehicle modifications
  • Equipment repair
  • Air conditioners

Eligibility:
Residents of Canada with a confirmed diagnosis of MS * Assessment of need by a healthcare professional

No fees
How to Access:
Visit website to download an application form * Does not provide 'after the fact' funding, applications must be submitted prior to purchase
Documents Required:
Completed application form * Letter of diagnosis for first-time applicants * Completed and signed Declaration of Financial Need * Two price quotes for the item * A written recommendation from an occupational therapist or physiotherapist * See website for full details
