Public Health - Midwifery Services

Service Description

Provides care before, during, and after pregnancy to clients as a primary care provider. Services include:

Preconception counselling: Tailored to a family's needs including upcoming pregnancy, Pap/HPV screening, or providing information on midwifery
Prenatal care: Tailored assessments and education to a family's needs including prenatal classes and breast/chest feeding classes
Postpartum services: Physical assessments, education, lactation support, further family planning and more

Eligibility:

Open to all who are looking for help in:

-Low-risk pregnancy,
-Preconception counselling
-Postpartum
-Newborn care

No fees
