Service Description
Participating pharmacies can assess for 35 non-urgent, common ailments and prescribe some medications.
Examples of ailments include:
Prescriptions: Pharmacists can assess and prescribe renewals of medications that were originally prescribed by a physician or nurse practitioner. Several factors are considered to determine if a medication is eligible for renewal by a pharmacist including the type of medication, reason for use, and monitoring required.

- Cough
- Sore throat
- Seasonal allergies
- Heart burn
- Minor joint pain
- Thrush
- Skin conditions like eczema and acne
