Service Description

Provides eligible applicants with partial cost coverage for approved medications and supplies including:
  • Insulin products
  • Oral medications
  • Urine-testing materials
  • Blood strips

Permanent PEI residents diagnosed with diabetes * Must be registered in the Provincial Diabetes Program
Fees:
Yes * Must be able to pay your portion of costs
How to Access:
Physician, nurse practitioner or other health care provider must complete and submit the referral form available online to the Provincial Diabetes Program * Visit website for more information
