Park Street Emergency Shelter

Service Description
Provides an overnight shelter for adults experiencing homelessness.
The gender inclusive 50-bed shelter offers units that have one or two dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathroom and showers. Services include:
- Showers
- Accessible units for individuals with physical mobility challenges
- Laundry facilities
- Long term storage for larger items such as a bicycle
- Breakfast options
- Transportation by a free shuttle bus to downtown is available each morning
- Referrals to community partner organizations for support services
- Pets can be accommodated if there are no other options for pet care
- Beds can be booked for up to 30 days at a time
- Transportation from outside Charlottetown can be arranged, if required

How to Access:
Call to book a bed * Intake and safety screening completed at each stay * Clients are asked to arrive before 10pm to claim their bed * Gates to the shelter close at 12am * Individuals utilizing shelter can come and go until 2am
