Out-of-Province Liaison Program

Service Description
Provides access to a registered nurse who is assigned to assist Islanders receiving care at QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax or the Moncton Hospital. The liaison nurse is stationed at the hospital where the patient is being cared for and can help PEI patients and their families:
- Connect with other health care professionals
- Locate programs and services that are available to help
- Assist with the discharge process from an out-of-province hospital

Eligibility:
PEI residents who are accessing out-of-province emergency services or are pre-approved for out-of-province medical services at in Halifax or the Moncton Hospital

No fees
