Newcomer Seniors' Social Integration Program

Service Description

Immigrant seniors and Island seniors who are age 50+ participate together in hands-on workshops and activities to help combat social isolation. Also provides the opportunity for immigrants to learn about PEI culture and share their culture, practice language skills and make lasting social connections. Examples of past activities or topics include:
  • Visual arts
  • Line dancing
  • Cooking
  • Rug hooking
  • Story telling
  • Photography
  • Financial literacy


Registered PEIANC clients who are age 50 years or older
No fees
How to Access:
People who are not registered clients can book an appointment with an Intake Worker to become clients for free * Existing clients can drop in, call or contact through website to make an appointment

English * Interpreters for many other languages can be provided on request
