Service Description
Provides a free heat pump and installation services to eligible applicants.
Access PEI connects homeowners with contractors who will set up an appointment to do an initial assessment of the home. Contractors have a list of eligible heat pumps covered under this program and are paid directly by the government.
The Government of PEI delivers the federal government program, the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program (OHPA). The online application for the Net Zero program includes OHPA application. Applicants will be determined which programs are eligible for and contacted for the next steps.

Eligibility:
Must meet all of the following criteria:
-Applicants must be the primary resident and owner of the home
-Have a household net income below $100,000 (applicant and spouse/partner)
-Home must be eligible (detached, duplex/semi-detached, condominium or mobile home) and must be connected to the electrical grid

Current Proof of Income Statement from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for applicant and spouse/common-law partner * GST Credit Notice showing address, family net income, marital status and province of residence * Current Canada Child Benefit Statement from CRA * Document of property tax information
