Service Description

An overnight shelter facility located in Summerside that also operates as a transitional housing for women, trans and non-binary individuals and children who find themselves temporarily unhoused due to a variety of factors. Stays at the shelter are managed on a case-by-case basis and can be up to eight weeks without leaving.

Shelter services include:
  • Beds
  • Food and drink
  • Access to laundry and hygiene products
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Transportation is available to be arranged if needed (call for details)
  • Case management
Transition services include individual case planning with a case manager and support in navigating systems include:
  • Employment assistance
  • Financial services
  • Legal aid
  • Childcare
  • Training allowances
  • Health services

Eligibility:
Open to all women, trans, non-binary individuals and children ages 18 years and older in need of overnight or temporary shelter * Children under 18 years can be eligible if accompanied by a legal guardian * Male children must be under 18 years to be eligible
