Service Description

Centre for Equitable Library Access's (CELA) collection of books and other resources are available in alternate formats for those who are not able to use print materials. Items can be downloaded or borrowed and mailed to the person's home. Resources include:
  • Downloadable books, magazines and other materials
  • DAISY talking books and magazines downloadable directly to player or mobile device (both audio and accessible text are available)
  • DAISY audio books and magazines on CD by mail
  • Braille book by mail
  • Printbraille (children's picture books with braille added) by mail

Eligibility:
Public library card holders who have a visual, learning or physical disability that impairs their ability to read print materials

Must have a valid PEI library card to register
