Service Description

Staff are available to help people who visit the archives in person to do family tree or historical research on PEI subjects. Includes:
  • Helping first time visitors register for a Public Archives and Records Office research pass
  • Answering research questions, suggesting search strategies and retrieving requested material
  • Copying and digital imaging of collection items for a fee
  • Providing limited research assistance to those who ask questions by phone, mail or email

First time visitors fill out a registration form at the reference desk

Photo identification and completed application form
Program Hours:
May-Sept: Mon-Fri 9am-3pm
Oct-April: Tues-Fri 10am-4pm * Thurs 5pm-7pm
