Lawyer Referral Service
Provided by: Community Legal Information - AKA: Formerly Community Legal Information Association; CLIA
Service Description
Offers 45 minute consultation with a lawyer that provides legal information and general advice on the client's matter.
The lawyer will tell the client if they think there is a legal problem, what would be involved in addressing the issue, how long it would take to solve the problem, and how much it will cost.
The lawyer cannot prepare documents or act as the client's representative. If the client requires the lawyer to work on their case and the lawyer agrees, an agreed fee will apply.
Note: This is not Legal Aid.
