Service Description
Provides day (full-time and part-time) and evening (part-time) English language instruction classes for newcomers to Canada.
Information
Eligibility:
Individuals must:
-Be a permanent resident of Canada, or Convention Refugee, or be a person in Canada whose application for Permanent Resident status is being processed in Canada and who has been informed by a letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada of the initial approval of your application subject to an admissibility assessment (have approval-in-principle)
-Live in PEI
-Be 18 years and older
-Meet the requirements for and register as a client at the Immigrant and Refugee Service Association of PEI (IRSA)
-Have completed Canadian language Benchmarks Placement Test (CLBPT)
